Rain couldn't stop W3 Ultimate Soiree
It is the start of a new era, and Portland natives Thandika Thompson and Ashley Fisher set out to bring a new experience to the parish that is best known for its lush greens and beautiful beaches.
While many tossed in bed due to the showers of rain last Sunday evening, millennials were out in their numbers for October's very own Wings, Waffle and Winepunch (W3 Ultimate SoirÈe).
Stepping into the scenic venue of San San Tropez Villa Hotel, there was fine fashion all around, as socialites embraced the rainy weather and stepped on. Although the evening got off to a late start and the rain seemed relentless, there was nothing stopping this soirÈe from popping. From wings, waffles, winepunch and a fully stacked bar of libations, there were dancing taste buds all around.
As night fell and the showers were no more, the music from Bigga 5, Transformahz and Rockin Time Sound propelled the attendees closer to the poolside to show off their dance moves.
In the end, the W3 team was overjoyed by the guests, satisfaction and turnout of events.
"I'm overwhelmed. The team is incredible. Even when it was raining, the team came together and we decided that we were going to hold the torch and guide the patrons. The feedback has been amazing. We have people from the United States and all over Jamaica supporting and anticipating the next experience. It warms my heart," W3 director Thandika Thompson said.
