Tia speaks up for couples
Dancehall and reggae artiste Tia is using her latest track to speak out for couples who want to keep their relationships going despite negative comments from the naysayers.
"When you love what you have, you should stand firm even if others can't see it. It is a song that many of us can relate to, both men and women," said Tia.
Over Due is a Troyton Music production and is featured on the Dual Citizen rhythm that features other acts like Konshens, Jah Cure, I-Octane and Chris Martin. The rhythm is distributed by 21st Hapilos and will be available on all major platforms for purchase on November 30.
According to Tia, her song is getting a lot of attention right across the Caribbean,
"The love for this song has been overwhelming. It has exceeded my expectations. People who have heard the song have reached out about how amazing they think it is, and I'm very grateful because I put a lot of work into my music," she said.
Tia also said that she plans on working closely with Troyton Music for some new releases.
"I'm currently working on another project with Troyton that will include a collaboration with Charly Black. This project could be something that changes my life, and I'm very excited for people to hear what we have cooked up. Charly is an amazing artiste and performer, and his versatility is something that I felt would mesh well with the track. I am also working on releasing another song called Reggae Music Sweet, which is a celebration of reggae music. It was produced by Esco and Starstruck Music Group," said Tia.
