Prince Suave banking on new single

Brooklyn-based dancehall artiste Prince Suave recently released a brand new track, ' Suave Boss'.

The track was produced by Jamaican producer Weekday and recorded at Codenamebells studio in Brooklyn, New York.

" Suave Boss is about being your own boss, living your best life - living the fast life and having fun while being young, wild and free," the artiste said.

Currently receiving rotations in Brooklyn, the track has been receiving great feedback so far and he believes it is poised to make a breakthrough on the Jamaican airwaves.

"[The song] is a real vibe and a lot of people can relate to it. Plus, it's catchy," the artiste added.

The accompanying music video is slated to be shot in Jamaica in early 2020. Following this track, Prince Suave is also working on upcoming collaborations with a few major artistes, as he moves his career forward.

"I'm working with a good team, one that believes in my talent and movement. I trust that they can deliver," he said. "As an artiste, you have to educate yourself about the music industry...

One thing that keeps him going is a quote from his father, who was in the music business as a road manager for many years.

"Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities. Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers, you cannot be successful or happy," Prince Suave recalled of his father's words.
