Former cop arrested for killing wife in Portmore
The Cumberland community in Portmore is in shock following the stabbing death of 65-year-old Pamella Manning on Saturday night.
Police said that the pensioner was killed following a dispute with her husband Paddon Manning, a former cop.
According to a release from the Corporate Communications Unit (CCU), about 10 p.m., the couple, who resided at Potterdale Avenue, was involved in a domestic dispute that turned physical. The woman was stabbed in the neck during the altercation. She was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Her husband was subsequently arrested.
