Kanye West sells Jamaica-branded shirts after Sunday Service

Thousands of persons turned up at Emancipation Park on Friday night for Kanye West's Sunday Service.

Having reportedly spent in the region of US$1million to stage his free concert in Kingston on Friday night, it appears Kanye West intends to make back some of the money through the sale of Jamaica-branded merchandise.

The United States of American rapper is selling shirts with Jamaican emblem for up to US$200 each. He is selling Jamaica Sunday Service caps for $60.

The items are being sold on West's website. The cheapest item on the site is a Jesus is King Jamaica Seal t-shirt, which is being sold for US$50. The Jamaican-branded Yeezy Garment went on sale following West's historic Sunday Service at Emancipation Park in Kingston.

The wears have the images of the Hummingbird, the city of Kingston logo, the Jamaican flag and the coat of arms. It is not known whether Jamaica will get financial benefit from the sale of the merchandise.
