Cops probe quadruple murder in Clarendon
The police in Clarendon have launched an investigation into the shooting death of four men in the community of Summerfield on Wednesday morning.
Acting Senior Superintendent of Police, Carlos Russell, says the men were at a cookshop some time after 1:00 a.m when they were attacked.
It is believed they died on spot.
The incident is a chilling reminder of the June 2022 quintuple murder in the neighbouring community of Cocoa Piece, where a mother and her 4 children were brutally killed.
The parish of Clarendon was last racked by a quadruple murder in Havannah Heights in September 2021, when 4 members of one family were killed execution-style.
More to come.
